The headphones are Audio Technica - ATH M-50s. They are studio monitor headphones and they sound pretty amazing, even when they weren't burned in. They cost around $100. This entire build was about ~$800 and took about 5-7 hours to complete. I'm completely happy with it. :)

iphone 4s

Lol, Apple is doing it again. You really can't blame them for doing what works, and making millions while doing it, but man they really are pushing their "i'x'-(1-xx)generation" devices and I'm still wondering how long it'll take before they just can't keep it going. But hey, you do what you have to do, right? Anyways, the upcoming iphone 4s will include a new A5 dual-core processor (impressive), better cameras, some cosmetic adjustments, and some new carriers like T-mobile and Sprint.
I'm not a huge Apple fan, but I do enjoy my ipod and itunes. They make enjoying music/movies and other media quite exceptional. Apple announced that their new phone will release sometime around September. So for now, we'll see where things head.

Woah
It's been a while! I've been so busy with school and stuff, I haven't had much time to really blog. Haha, that statement is similar to my previous post. But in all seriousness, I plan to blog more. Tech is has been advancing so much this year it's crazy. Anyways, more to come!

As of the moment, I'm too busy to blog, however I will sometime this week. I think my next blog will be about the 3DS and the new PSP, so I'll cover that I guess. Other than that, this post is mainly an update.
Also, old news - in case you guys like to listen to music, http://www.rainymood.com/ is a pretty good site that plays a HQ rain mp3. It's pretty good and you should check it out if you already haven't. ;)

New PC Build
So after carefully considering many parts to create my first gaming pc, I've come up with a couple of good options that I think will give me that comfortability when playing. I'll upload the list when I get home, but it'll be able to handle pretty much anything out there on the market today, and only cost me a little under $1,000.
I'm only playing a few games as of today, but I'll buy a lot more eventually, including Crysis 2 (heard it's pretty good).
Edit: So the PC build includes the following:
-AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
-EVGA GTX 460 (or another brand that's cheaper)
-Windows 7 OEM
-Asus MFA87TD EVO
-Western Digital 500GB 7200RPM HDD
-Antec 900BS ATX Case
-G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB 1333
This build will around $800~$900, so it's a pretty good deal. I'll also be able to run most of the games I'm planning on playing, and playing. I'll update my next post either some time this week or next week.

Nvidia's 500 Series

With the latest release of Nvidia's 500 series, many PC gamers are upgrading their rigs to get that "new" load of power! Nvidia's newest gaming GPUs consist of the GTX 550 Ti, 560 Ti, 570, 580, and 590, and wow these are some cards!
Now even though these cards are pretty fancy, you can't forget about the good ol' GTX 460; I mean that card is just the best ;). But yeah, not much else to say other than these cards are pretty decent for your average gamer who doesn't want a really expensive card, but yet still wants a good amount of power to handle that vidya :P!

Apple's iPad 2

With the first release of the iPad in 2010 many believed it to be just an iPod Touch, only with a bigger face, however Apple is showing that there's more to its iPad line. The new iPad 2 comes with a dual-core A5 chip, 2 HD cameras for Facetime, a LED-backlight display, iOS4, wifi, and can be connected to at&t and Verizon for that 3G goodness.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't know how much longer Apple can go on releasing a new model of their iPod, iPad, or iPhone. With the release of their first iphone in 2007, they're apparently still going strong, however other competitors like Android still leave room for controlling the market. We'll see who ends up on top by the end of the year.
Off topic - This is my first post of many to come. Hopefully I'll be able to learn a lot more about technology while still pleasing the people who are interested in just as much as I am. :P
