With the first release of the iPad in 2010 many believed it to be just an iPod Touch, only with a bigger face, however Apple is showing that there's more to its iPad line. The new iPad 2 comes with a dual-core A5 chip, 2 HD cameras for Facetime, a LED-backlight display, iOS4, wifi, and can be connected to at&t and Verizon for that 3G goodness.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't know how much longer Apple can go on releasing a new model of their iPod, iPad, or iPhone. With the release of their first iphone in 2007, they're apparently still going strong, however other competitors like Android still leave room for controlling the market. We'll see who ends up on top by the end of the year.
Off topic - This is my first post of many to come. Hopefully I'll be able to learn a lot more about technology while still pleasing the people who are interested in just as much as I am. :P
Is it REALLY going to be that much of an upgrade?
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. Like most of Apple's new releases, they do bring many new features to the table, however unless you know others with Facetime (which is pretty much the only reason to upgrade) than upgrading really isn't worth it, that is if you already have an iPad.
